Star Wars Inspiration

This is one of my favorite movie shots of all time. I decided to do my digital painting tribute as it kind of describes my feelings recently.  I didn't color pick or overlay so I used this as a color exercise.  I'm amazed at the amount of magenta color in some of the areas. It seems like its from the red earth reflecting light and bouncing up and hitting the cooler back-faces.

And now I realize how fitting it was that I did this illustration today...
